Here at QuarkBeat we're Principled Centrists who have been clinging to common sense and sanity while folks around us are sprinting to the extremes. It's a bit like Clown world with the far left extremists, who don't care if elections are rigged and who support genocides and then there's the woke right, who don't seem to know whether they are Arthur of Martha, who also support genocides. We don't!

QuarkBeat and the HIV Consumer Alliance of WA, as unfunded volunteers, are driven by a mission to build community and spark hope at the grassroots, step by small step. ‘We are only here to help,’ we say, offering a fresh, community-led approach that prioritises grassroots voices with unheard experience over entrenched noisy power structures.

QuarkBeat's Centre for Teaching and Learning Programs are about solving real issues of public concern while providing grassroots people with new ways of seeing and effecting public policy change.
